And Another: Mirror Up To Nature

All of a sudden, the theatrosphere is awash in thoughtful posts, this one by art at Mirror Up to Nature entitled "Morality Bites." He raises a lot of great questions about morality in the arts, and whether critics should engage their moral values when reviewing. I think that morality in criticism is the way to go, but the problem has to do with the limited interest/scope of the fourth estate...

i.e. if you are only going to get one printed review...aint it a shmae if it is someone too prudish or too offended or too liberal to understand your conservative vision?

Here's a question? In the past were there a wider array of reviews from wider array of printed material hence if criticism were moral at least there's be a wider variety of moral POVs?
